Job Summary
The Procurement Manager is responsible for planning, sourcing, negotiating, and managing the procurement of goods and services to ensure uninterrupted supply, cost efficiency, quality compliance, and strong supplier relationships in support of the company’s operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals and budgets.
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and service levels.
- Lead contract negotiations and manage supplier agreements, pricing structures, and service terms.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with logistics and sales teams to forecast purchasing needs.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of products to meet operational demand.
- Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships and resolve performance issues.
- Conduct supplier performance reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical procurement standards.
- Manage the procurement team, providing leadership, training, and performance management.
- Prepare procurement reports, budgets, and cost-saving analyses for senior management.
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities without compromising quality or service standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of local and international sourcing practices.
- Experience using ERP and inventory management systems.
