Job Summary
The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, loading, unloading, stacking, and storage of goods within the warehouse and distribution areas. This role supports timely order fulfillment while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and housekeeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklift and other material-handling equipment safely at all times.
- Load and unload delivery trucks, containers, and trailers.
- Stack, store, and retrieve pallets in designated warehouse locations.
- Transport goods to picking, staging, and dispatch areas as required.
- Verify quantities and product condition during handling and report discrepancies or damages.
- Assist with picking, packing, and order preparation when required.
- Conduct daily forklift inspections and report mechanical issues promptly.
- Maintain clean, orderly, and safe warehouse aisles and storage areas.
- Adhere strictly to company safety policies, traffic flow rules, and standard operating procedures.
- Support stock counts, inventory checks, and warehouse audits as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum secondary school education.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification / License.
- At least 1–2 years’ experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse layout, racking systems, and safe stacking practices.
- Basic numeracy and record-keeping skills.

- Physically fit and able to work long hours, including weekends or overtime when required.
