Job Summary
The CSR / Cashier is responsible for delivering excellent customer service while accurately processing cash, card, and credit transactions. This role ensures efficient front-line operations, proper handling of customer inquiries, and compliance with company policies and cash-handling standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers professionally and provide prompt, courteous service.
- Process cash, card, and credit sales transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Issue receipts, invoices, and credit notes in accordance with company procedures.
- Balance cash drawers daily and reconcile discrepancies.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve basic complaints or escalate when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional customer service area.
- Ensure compliance with company cash-handling, credit, and security policies.
- Assist with product information, promotions, and general sales support.
- Maintain accurate customer and transaction records.
- Support other departments during peak periods as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum secondary school education.
- At least 1–2 years’ experience in cashiering or customer service is an asset.
- Basic computer literacy and experience using POS systems.
