Job Summary
The Business Unit Head – Beverage is responsible for the overall leadership, growth, and profitability of their portfolio. This role provides strategic direction, drives sales and marketing execution, manages cross-functional teams, and ensures strong brand performance, market penetration, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the strategic plan for the beverage business unit, aligned with corporate objectives.
- Lead and manage sales, marketing, and brand activation teams to achieve volume, revenue, and market share targets.
- Drive annual business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with principals, key customers, and distribution partners.
- Oversee product portfolio management including launches, promotions, pricing strategies, and lifecycle management.
- Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Ensure optimal route-to-market execution, trade visibility, and in-store excellence.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and cost efficiency.
- Monitor profitability, manage cost controls, and deliver sustainable margin growth.
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across the beverage division.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and responsible marketing standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or related field; MBA is an asset.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in FMCG, beverages, or consumer goods, with at least 1 year in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing brands, driving revenue growth, and leading large commercial teams.
- Strong understanding of trade marketing, distribution management, and sales operations.
