ANSA McAL Distribution Inc. (AMDI) donated 6.4 million dollars towards the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports to execute activities for Mashramani 2023 that will highlight the Guyanese Culture and Arts. The theme for Mashramani 2023 is Mixing and Mashing as one Guyana, and AMDI is committed to the sustainability of Guyanese Arts and Culture.
The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports established a calendar filled with cultural events from January 27th to February 22nd, leading to the grand Mashramani Parade. The events sponsored were the Children’s Mashramani Competition held at the National Cultural Center on the 16th – 17th of February, the Adult Chutney Monarch held on the 19th of February at Skeldon, Berbice, and the Soca Monarch Competition on the 22nd February, which will be held at the National Stadium.
AMDI is exceptionally proud of this partnership since it solidifies AMDI’s robust Corporate Social Responsibility program that subscribes to fostering the talents and development of Guyanese youths through opportunities such as this.
