ANSA McAL has taken the critical step of expanding its local and regional partnership with WizdomCRM to promote financial literacy for students and create a more sustainable and economically stable environment for the region.
Earlier this year, ANSA McAL partnered with WizdomCRM, as the only cross-border sponsor for Cycle 7 of their Sustainable Stock Market Game as part of its continued investment as a progressive leader in youth development in Guyana and Trinidad & Tobago.
Students from Queen’s College and North Ruimveldt Multilateral Secondary School (Guyana), as well as Bishop Anstey High School (Port of Spain), Bishops Anstey High School East, and Tranquility Secondary School, (Port of Spain) benefitted from the partnership between ANSA McAL and WizdomCRM.
Speaking at the Cycle 7 Award Ceremony at NAPA for 150 students from diverse socio- economic backgrounds from Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana, Head of Culture and Communications for ANSA McAL Ltd, Ms. Sarah Inglefield said, “Our Leadership, led by Group CEO, Mr. Anthony N. Sabga III, has seen the benefits of the Sustainable Stock Market Game in strengthening human capital whilst ensuring quality education at the secondary level in both Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago.
As such, we will continue the collaborative work we started with WizdomCRM for Cycle 7 and expand our regional sponsorship for Cycle 8 in 2024 and Cycles 9 and 10 in 2025. This is very much in line with our purpose of “Inspiring Better Choices for a Better World”.
Ms Inglefield emphasized, “It means that not only will we continue to support our sponsored students in Trinidad & Tobago and Guyana, but we will now also be sponsoring students in Barbados, allowing them access to this regional competition through gamification learning and artificial intelligence, and leveraging AI for 21 st century education.”
Group company, ANSA Bank, delivered on its promise to open bank accounts for all ANSA McAL sponsored students that landed in the Top 150 in Trinidad. Special TT$1000.00 voucher deposits for ANSA McAL’s top 3 students were presented by Mr. Edmund Joachim, Head of Retail and Commercial Banking to Desiree Cuffie representing Bishop Anstey High School, Port of Spain and sisters Arissa Kumar and Alissa Kumar from Bishop Anstey High School East.
Yohance October, Guyana’s top student in the Sustainable Stock Market Game representing ANSA McAL sponsored school, Queen’s College, was accompanied by his mother, Mrs. Toshoya Douglas October and shared his own personal journey in understanding the game and the transferring of knowledge to his parents to build generational wealth for his family and community.
