TROY CADOGAN

Managing Director

Troy Cadogan at present serves as the Managing Director of ANSA McAL Distribution Inc. having joined the ANSA McAL Group in the year 2000. He was appointed to the Board of AMDI in January 2009.

His previous roles at AMDI started as Brand Manager, Divisional Manager then followed by the position of Marketing Director. For his academic background, he holds a first degree from the University of Guyana in Economics, a post-grad diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing. In 2008, he pursued his MBA from the University of the West Indies. In 2014 he completed the High Potential leadership development programme at Harvard University.

He possesses exceptional ability to construct and facilitate cohesive teams, interface with public agencies and liaise with key stakeholders. His free time is taken up with his exploits on the local golf course or doing charity work through his membership in the Rotary Club of Stabroek.

GANESH HIRRYMAN

Finance Manager

Ganesh Hirryman is currently the Accountant who brings 21 years of distribution experience to the ANSA McAL Distribution Inc. team after joining the ANSA McAL Group of companies in 1997.

Advancing through a series of promotions, he seamlessly shifted gears in 2009 when and became part of a dynamic management team. Mr. Hirryman highest priority throughout the years has been accountability and compliance with group policies and procedures.

He is a certified chartered accountant with an ACCA qualification. His academic background includes training in leadership and development program from the University of West Indies. Mr. Hirryman is a husband and dedicated father to his son who has developed a recent passion for reading and enjoys swimming.

 

SELWYN WILLIAMS
SELWYN WILLIAMS

Warehouse Manager

Selwyn Williams is responsible for the management of ANSA Trading Limited warehouses in Guyana. These include the main warehouse at Beterverwagting, East Coast Demerara along with the two satellite warehouses at Berbice, Region Six and Bartica, Region Seven.

With twenty-five years warehouses and distribution experience Selwyn has direct supervision of 65 persons from the assistant warehouse manager, supervisors, clerks, drivers, down to the warehouse assistants.

Selwyn is an associate member of ABE and holds an advanced diploma in Business Management. He has completed certificate courses in Industrial Relations and Management, the most recent being Leadership Development – UWI Cavehill 2013 and Supply Chain & Logistics Management 2018.

Dexter Seaton

Rest of Trade Manager

Dexter Seaton is the Sales and Trade Marketing Manager -Beverage Division having joined ANSA McAL Distribution Inc. November 2016. Dexter has over twelve years of extensive experience in logistics, sales, marketing, and even trade marketing. He has worked in countries such as Martinique, Guadalupe, Costa Rica, Trinidad and various Regions of Guyana.

Prior to becoming a part of the AMDI family, he was the Key Accounts and Logistic Executive at Demerara Tobacco Company Limited which is a subsidiary of British American Tobacco that is charged with providing marketing support for brands sold in Guyana.

He is also trained by PepsiCo Int’l for the PEPSI Selling Process and Royal Dekuyper Bartending Certificate Program. Mr Seaton is very passionate about the economic success of specific brands and developing and coaching persons under his exemplary leadership.

 

PADMA De LIMA

Divisional Manager of Consumer Goods

Ms. Padma De Lima holds the official position as the Divisional Manager of Consumer Goods at ANSA McAL Distribution Inc.. 

Since the beginning of her journey at AMDI in 2009, Padma has demonstrated outstanding leadership that
has been integral in the company’s success over the years.

She holds a BSC in Business Management and a Diploma in Marketing from the University of Guyana and an MBA from the Australian Institute of Business. Padma also completed the JMW Leadership program.

Throughout her years at AMDI she has assumed managerial positions in the Consumer Goods Division, the Construction Division until eventually as the Business Unit Head of Procter & Gamble. Under her leadership throughout the years the Unit has received numerous awards in recognition of performance excellence. Some of these awards are the Distribution of the Year Award for LANMAR in 2016 and 2017, the first place of the fabric facilitating challenge, and best in class execution for P&G in the years 2017 and 2018.

Padma is a mother of two (2) children and in her leisure time, she enjoys watching sports and going to the gym.

Darshanie Yussuf-Abel
Darshanie Yussuf-Abel

Divisional Manager-Customer Management/Sales

Darshanie Yussuf-Abel is the Key Accounts 1 Manager of ANSA McAL Distribution Inc.. She was promoted from her role in 2022 as the Business Unit Head for the international Beers, Wines & Spirits portfolios with direct responsibilities for innovative marketing distribution. She has over 10 successful years of working experience within the communications, marketing and trade marketing fields arena.

In her educational drive, Mrs Yussuf-Abel completed her MBA from the Australian Institute of Business in 2015. Her thirst for knowledge remains a never-ending journey since she has participated in several leadership programs in the areas of sales, marketing and customer service in Guyana, Trinidad, Panama, Costa Rica and the USA with Heineken.

ANJETA HINDS

Key Accounts Manager 2

Anjeta Hinds is the Key Accounts 2 Manager.

She was recently promoted from her position as Business Unit Head for Food and Consumer Goods within the Consumer Goods Division of ANSA McAL Distribution Inc. effective August 2018. At the beginning of her journey with AMDI- July 2008, she started as a Beverage Division Marketing Assistant for a number of brands from beers to non-alcoholic brands.

Ms Hinds currently manages the daily sales and marketing of Food and Consumer Brands from sister companies such as ANSA Chemicals, ANSA Polymer and Trinidad Match Ltd to those of international companies from Connor’s Bros and Kellogg’s.

It can be attributed that her sound knowledge in marketing and creative drive has proven to be her asset to the company and the extended team. During her time with AMDI, she has managed to complete her BSc in Business Management with future plans to complete her EMBA programme.

 

ERROL NELSON
ERROL NELSON

Business Unit Head- International Spirits

Errol Nelson is the Business Unit Head of International Spirits. His professional experience spans over 19 years in the areas of sales, marketing, and distribution at a senior managerial level during those years.

This former student of Queen’s College academic
accomplishments is strategically aligned with his career path. He holds a master’s degree in International Business
Administration from the University of the West Indies. Additionally, he has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management (distinction) and a Diploma in Marketing from the University of Guyana

One noteworthy accomplishment for Mr. Nelson was completing Certification programmes in Strategic Sales, Marketing and Distribution from the Coca Cola
Company. He is also certified from the Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business with a certificate in ‘leadership’.

Errol enjoys fishing, swimming, and football. 

TARA RAMBHAROSE-HIRRYMAN
TARA RAMBHAROSE-HIRRYMAN

Procurement Manager

Tara Rambharose-Hirryman is head of Procurement and Logistics at ANSA McAL Distribution Inc. and reports directly to the Managing Director. Her journey in the company started in 2009 in the finance department. Prior to ANSA McAL Distribution Inc., she worked for Correia Group of Companies for some 8 years.

She currently holds an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration from the United Kingdom and is working to complete her ACCA qualification.
An accountant by profession, she found her true passion in the Procurement and Logistics Department where she was instrumental in its development of procedures and systems.

She also attended several training programs and workshops in Supply Chain Management. A wife and mother of one, she spends her free time with her family. She enjoys cooking, gardening and interior home designs.

 

Atisha Isaacs
Atisha Isaacs

Business Unit Head -Procter &Gamble

Atisha Isaacs joined Ansa McAL Trading as Business Unit Head for the Proctor and Gamble Division in 2022. She has over thirteen years of professional experience in Customer Relations Management, Sales, Marketing and Business Development.

Atisha is a former student of St. Stanislaus College with academic accomplishments of a Diploma in Marketing and a Degree in Business Management from the University of Guyana.

She has a passion for networking and is highly team spirited. She is also a dedicated mother of two boys and enjoys spending quality time with her family, listening to music and enjoys a good ‘meme’. One of her favourite quotes to share is “Doing a common thing uncommonly well brings success.” Henry John Heinz

Kalawattie Datt-Singh
Kalawattie Datt-Singh

Business Unit Head - Health & Wellness Division

Kalawattie Datt-Singh is the Business Unit Head for the Health & Wellness Division. She is responsible for the Ethical and Government Business, supervising the medical representatives
and the pharmacist for the retail outlet.

 Kalawattie commenced her employment at ANSA McAL in 2012 as a Medical Representative, subsequently was promoted to Tender Coordinator followed by Institutional Business Manager and now to Business Unit Head.

Kalawattie’ s educational background includes an Associate Degree in Medical Technology, Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy both from University of Guyana, and Master’s in Business Administration from University of Bedfordshire.
Between 2000 – 2004 to better serve her profession she joined her professional organizations the Guyana Pharmacists’ Association (GPA), Pharmacy Council of Guyana, Commonwealth Pharmacists Association (CPA) and Caribbean Association of Pharmacists (CAP). 

During her sojourn in the profession of pharmacy, Kalawattie has done yeoman service in uplifting the profession both locally and in the Caribbean.

Rampersaud Arjune
Rampersaud Arjune

Manager - Van Sales

Mr. Rampersaud Arjune leads the Sales team as the Van Sales Manager.

He is one of ANSA McAL’s longest serving employees with 24 years of diligent contribution to the excellent customer service provided by the company. Rampersaud’s career at AMDI started at the Warehouse where he gained insight into the company’s distribution and trade.

He has a certificate in Supervisory Management from the Institute of Private Enterprise Development along with corresponding certificates from other private institutions.

 

He has a love for the outback adventure and plants. 

Derick Lowe
Derick Lowe

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Derick Lowe is the Chief Financial Officer with the responsibility of leading the Finance Division and the IT department.

Mr. Lowe joined ANSA McAL Distribution Inc. in 2020 with 20 years of leadership experience in the Finance field. He started his professional career as an Auditor and later pursued his dream of being an accountant. He is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), as well an Accounting Certificate as an Accounting Technician from the Emile Wolfe College of Accountancy.

Mr. Lowe is a sports enthusiast who enjoys watching Sports in his free time. He is also a family man who enjoys spending time with his wife of 30 years and his son.

Carol-Ann Lam
Carol-Ann Lam

Business Unit Head - OTC and Consumer Healthcare Brands

Carol-Ann Lam is the Business Unit Head for the OTC and Consumer Healthcare Brands within the Health & Wellness Division. She has been a Registered Pharmacist for the past ten years and have served in different capacities in areas of pharmacy practice including pharmaceutical
manufacturing, community practice and pharmaceutical distribution during her career.

Her tenure at Ansa Mcal began in 2017 as a Medical Representative following which she served as Sales Manager within the Health & Wellness Division before being promoted to her current role.

Against Carol-Ann’s undergraduate background in Pharmacy from the University of Guyana, she shifted academic focus in 2020 to the pursuit of a Master in Business Management from the University of Bedfordshire and further post-graduate study in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at the University of the West Indes Centre for Professional Development and Lifelong Learning (CPDLL).

She attributes her business development skills to the opportunities to explore these varied academic pursuits, which have fostered outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.

Mark Bhikhai
Mark Bhikhai

Manager - Berbice Area

Mark Bhikhai is the Manager of the Berbice area operation of ANSA McAL. He joined the Company in 2002 in said position and has accumulated 20 years of experience in various fields. He has responsibility for Sales, Marketing, Distribution, Inventory management, and HR management.

His key focus over the years has been expanding the ANSA McAL footprint in the area. Mark has qualifications in Marketing, Management, and Leadership from institutions inclusive of Northern Alberta Institute of Technology,

University of Guyana, and University of West Indies. He is
currently pursuing his master’s in international business.
Mark is passionate about fostering a work environment that truly envelops employees in a second family, and stands as a beacon of support and innovation in the community.

Mark’s free time is occupied by his two daughters. He enjoys outdoors activities, and his quiet time is spent engulfed in a good fantasy movie.

Subrina Bhajan-Kishore
Subrina Bhajan-Kishore

Business Unit Head - Food and Consumer Goods Division

Subrina Bhajan-Kishore currently holds the post as the Business Unit Head of the Food and Consumer Goods Division after leading the retail team as the Head of Retail.

She is responsible for leading and developing the overall performance of the Food and Consumer Goods Division where she has direct oversight of over 21 brands.

Subrina joined the ANSA McAl team in 2017 where she expanded her experience in various roles before her promotion to the role as Business Unit Head.

She has over 12 years of extensive experience in Retail, Marketing and Customer Services and her academic portfolio includes a Diploma in Marketing and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Guyana and a Master’s Degree in International Business from the University of the West Indies in addition to numerous training and workshop that has paved the way for the growth in her career.

Subrina is also a mother and a wife and enjoys the company of family and friends in her leisure time.

Al Davidson
Al Davidson

Assistant Warehouse Manager

Al Davidson joined ANSA McAL Distribution Inc. as the Assistant Warehouse Manager in 2022. With thirteen (13) years of experience in operational management, Al competently maintains a firm handle on all aspects of the warehouse operations.

His academic portfolio includes a bachelor’s degree in Management from the Northern Caribbean University and a Diploma in Finance from the University of Technology in Jamaica.

Al has a passion for humanitarian services in society, therefore, he is a member of JCI Jamaica and the
Rotaract Club of Georgetown.
He enjoys spending time with his two children and watching football games.

Marcia Edwards
Marcia Edwards

Head of Retail

Marcia Edwards joined the company as the Head of Retail, managing the Ansa Mcal’s Mini Mart, Twee Gourmet Shoppe and Bar and the Twee Stores located at Arrival and Departures of the CJIAT. She is responsible for contributing to the company’s strategic objectives by creating and adding value through the growth and development of the retail business.

Marcia holds a master’s degree in Project Management from the University of the West Indies and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Guyana. She has fifteen years of experience in a combination of Retail Management, Customer Service, HR management, and leadership.

Marcia is passionate about volunteering through the Georgetown D’ Urban Park Lions Club and has been a part of several youth organizations, including the President’s Youth Award, The Guyana Red Cross Society, the Dynamic Youth Group, and the Guyana Girl Guides Association. She has one (1) daughter and enjoys baking buns in her spare time. She intends to pursue her dream of travelling the world to
explore new places and the unknown.

Holly Persaud

Human Resources Business Partner

Holly Persaud joined our team as the Human Resources Business Partner. She has over fifteen (15) years’ experience in managing employees under different portfolios (Local, Regional, International) with over seven (7) of those years in Senior Corporate HR Management.

Holly’s ambitious pursuit in her academics has allowed her to achieve her master’s degree in Business Administration from University of the People (in collaboration with NYU, McGill, Harvard Business School Online and University of Edinburg), a BSc. In Clinical Psychology from the American University of
Peace Studies in Guyana, Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certificate and over fifteen other certifications in various programmes that adds to her performance in her role.

She enjoys spending quality time with her family and animals and feels a sense of great calm when baking. Her professional aspirations drive her passion to help others realize their potential with a deep interest in sharing in the Titus 2 kind of leadership. Holly’s personal philosophy is “Always try to see the glass half full. Life can be difficult with personal and professional hurdles, but always try to see the best in any situation remembering even though we don’t understand it, God will carry you.”

Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Quality (HSSEQ) Assistant Manager

Elvan Hamilton is the Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Quality (HSSEQ) Assistant Manager at Ansa McAL Trading Ltd. With over 7 years of work experience within the Quality and HSE sectors of major fisheries industries within Guyana, he proficiently leads the team in ensuring that the
maintenance of facilities and the quality of products at the company meet the standards required.

Elvan is a former student of Mae’s High School and Nations Sixth Form College. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Guyana and is currently completing an MBA in Logistics and Management Supply from JAIN University in India. Elvan also has several Quality certificates.

He believes that you can accomplish anything you set your mind to do. Always make the effort, if you fail, learn from it, if you succeed, relish in your success.

Elvan enjoys fictional reading, watching, and partaking in sports activities. He also loves the outdoors and nature, traveling, and swimming.

Business Unit Head for Moet, Hennessy and Wines Portfolio

Atina Samad is the Business Unit Head for Moet, Hennessy and Wines Portfolio. She joined the company in 2013 as a Customer Service Representative. Over the years at AMDI, Atina has demonstrated outstanding performance in her various roles at AMDI .

She holds a master’s degree in International Business from the University of West Indies, a degree from Association of Business Executives and a diploma from the University of Guyana. She also has plans to complete a master’s in business administration in the future.

In her leisure time Atina enjoys being involved in charity work, learning through coaching sessions and spending time with her family and friends.

Tracy Seaforth
Tracy Seaforth

Business Unit Head of the Beverage Division

Tracy Seaforth is the Business Unit Head of the Beverage Division. With over sixteen years (16) experience in Customer Services, Advertising, Sponsorships, Trade Marketing and Brand Management, she adds a great wealth of knowledge and competent leadership to the division.

Tracy is a former student of St. Joseph’s High, and holds an associate degree in Marketing, Diploma in Business Communication and is currently pursuing an MBA in Business Administration from the Commonwealth Masters Programme at the University of Guyana. She has participated in trainings in Horeca Academy, Product Knowledge, and Brand Management.

Tracy believes that all our dreams come true if we have the courage to pursue them and that there is a need to escape one’s comfort zone and embark on a philosophy that life will only change if we embrace a determined desire to change it.
In addition to being an avid reader, she enjoys playing lawn tennis, travelling, spending time with family and friends.
