Job Overview:
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Sales Department to ensure the efficient execution of sales activities. The role serves as a key liaison between the sales team, customers, and internal departments, ensuring seamless order processing, accurate reporting, and exceptional customer service while contributing to the achievement of the company’s sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Administration
- Coordinate and support the day-to-day administrative functions of the Sales Department.
- Prepare quotations, sales reports, presentations, and other sales-related documentation.
- Maintain and update customer databases and sales records.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Liaise with Warehouse, Logistics, Customer Service, and Finance to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
- Monitor order status and resolve any issues affecting customer deliveries.
- Ensure pricing, promotions, and customer agreements are accurately reflected in the system.
- Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, order status, and promotions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through professional and timely communication.
- Coordinate meetings, training sessions, and promotional activities for the Sales Team.
- Assist with the planning and execution of sales campaigns and product launches.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline.
- Bachelor’s Degree would be an asset.
Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a sales administration, sales support,
customer service, or coordination role. - Experience in the FMCG or distribution industry would be an advantage.
