Relief Clerk / Customer Service Representative (CSR)
Job Summary

The Relief Clerk/Customer Service Representative (CSR) provides administrative and
customer service support across assigned departments, ensuring continuity of
operations during staff absences or peak periods. This role is responsible for delivering
efficient service, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records while
upholding company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
  • Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to customers (in-person, phone, and email)
  • Address customer queries, complaints, and requests, ensuring timely resolution or escalation
  • Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge
  • Administrative Support
  • Perform general clerical duties including filing, data entry, and document preparation
  • Maintain accurate records and update internal systems as required
  • Assist with the preparation of reports and correspondence
  • Sales & Order Processing
  • Process customer orders, invoices, and receipts accurately
  • Verify pricing, quantities, and product availability
  • Coordinate with sales and warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
  • Cash Handling & Reconciliation
  • Handle cash, cheques, and electronic transactions in accordance with company policies
  • Perform daily cash reconciliation and report discrepancies
  • Relief Coverage
  • Provide coverage for clerical and customer service roles across departments as needed
  • Adapt quickly to different functions, systems, and team environments
  • Support business operations during peak periods or staff shortages
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of 3–5 CXC subjects including Mathematics and English
  • Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration or a related field is an asset
  • 1–2 years’ experience in a customer service or administrative role
