Each year, the Guyana Association of Women Lawyers hosts an annual back-to-school drive that aims to provide underprivileged students in their community with the necessary supplies and clothing needed to start the new school year. This year, AMDI supported this initiative by providing hygienic supplies for the children of the Sophia Home.
“We firmly believe that education is a powerful tool for empowerment, and it is our mission to ensure that every child has equal access to educational resources,” wrote the secretary of the organization, Diane Woolford.
