Job Summary:
The Human Resource Assistant will be expected to provide professional support in the design and implementation of effective Human Resources Systems.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Facilitating the function of Benefits Administration – Enrolments/Deletions for Group Health/Pension, NIS, MP Insurance for Junior Level employees.
- Completing sick leave reports and medical claims as required (NIS and GTM)
- Enter/ exit employees and updating of Biometric software and generation of reports as requested
- Monitor employee attendance records and submit monthly reports of tardiness and absenteeism to HRO/HRM and Finance.
- Prepare job letters and other HR related documents as required for junior employees.
- Manage and process junior employee leave and prepare leave approval letter.
- Upload documents into the HRIS system and file documents to employees’ files in an efficient manner.
- Assist with sponsorships and donations, staff hampers, engagement events, etc.
- Respond to all HR related inquiries and requests for information in a courteous and timely manner.
- Assist in conducting introduction of new employees when required.
- Assist with the procurement and dispatching of employee uniforms.
- Assist with engagement activities.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Human Resource Management and at least 1 years’ experience within the field.
- Must be proactive and possess excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems with particular proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet manipulation; managing files and records and other office procedures and terminology.
