Human Resource Assistant

Job Summary:

The Human Resource Assistant will be expected to provide professional support in the design and implementation of effective Human Resources Systems.

Areas of Responsibility:
  • Facilitating the function of Benefits Administration – Enrolments/Deletions for Group Health/Pension, NIS, MP Insurance for Junior Level employees.
  • Completing sick leave reports and medical claims as required (NIS and GTM)
  • Enter/ exit employees and updating of Biometric software and generation of reports as requested
  • Monitor employee attendance records and submit monthly reports of tardiness and absenteeism to HRO/HRM and Finance.
  • Prepare job letters and other HR related documents as required for junior employees.
  • Manage and process junior employee leave and prepare leave approval letter.
  • Upload documents into the HRIS system and file documents to employees’ files in an efficient manner.
  • Assist with sponsorships and donations, staff hampers, engagement events, etc.
  • Respond to all HR related inquiries and requests for information in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Assist in conducting introduction of new employees when required.
  • Assist with the procurement and dispatching of employee uniforms.
  • Assist with engagement activities.
Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Human Resource Management and at least 1 years’ experience within the field.
  • Must be proactive and possess excellent communication skills. 
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems with particular proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet manipulation; managing files and records and other office procedures and terminology.
